Information on the Battery Act (BattG)
In connection with the sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries, we, as a retailer, are required to inform you of the following points in accordance with the Battery Act (BattG):

Return of batteries and rechargeable batteries
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are legally required to return used batteries to a designated collection point. After use, you can return batteries free of charge to designated collection points (e.g., municipal collection points or recycling centers) or at retail locations. -
Meaning of battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out trash can. This symbol indicates that batteries do not belong in regular household waste. In addition, chemical symbols indicating the presence of hazardous substances may be found on the batteries:- Pb = Battery contains lead
- Cd = Battery contains cadmium
- Hg = Battery contains mercury

Lithium-ion batteries - Special notes
- Lithium-ion batteries may only be returned when fully discharged and protected against short circuits.
- Damaged lithium batteries should no longer be used and should only be disposed of at special collection points.
- Please follow the safety and disposal instructions provided by the respective manufacturer.

By properly disposing of and recycling batteries and rechargeable batteries, you are making an important contribution to environmental protection. Many valuable raw materials can be reused, and environmental impact can be avoided.
